This exhibition celebrates the bold, vibrant, and deeply personal artistic vision of Frida Kahlo.
Kahlo's iconic self-portraits and paintings exploring themes of identity, pain, and the
complexities of the human experience have made her one of the most celebrated artists of the
20th century.

We are looking for art that draws inspiration from Kahlo’s distinctive style and subject matter. We
are accepting a diverse range of mediums and artistic approaches, from surreal self-portraits to
colorful celebrations of Mexican culture, offering fresh contemporary perspectives on visions of
the self.

Examples of themes of Kahlo that we are looking for in your art include but are not limited to;
self portraiture, emotional power, unapologetic authenticity, body positivity, mexican culture,
duality between natural and manmade, anatomy and health, identity and culture, etc.
